All I Want for Christmas is.....a few laps at Monster Racing

No matter where you live or who you are, the holiday season brings the same challenge for everyone.  Selecting the perfect gift for each loved one on your list can seem impossible at times.  Whether you are buying for your father, fiancé; mother, boss, girlfriend or son, the most common question remains the same; “What do you get the person who has everything?”

Girls Garage has the answer; a gift certificate from Monster Racing?

It could be the gift of a lifetime for someone who has always wondered what it is like inside the cockpit of a 3,400 lb stock car.  Or it could reignite a spark that has taken a back seat to the monotony of everyday life.  The experience instantly replaces the ultimate fishing story and creates a memory that truly lasts a lifetime.

For many, driving around any NASCAR-sanctioned race track is on their list of things they want to do before they die, no matter how young or old they may be.  The experience can be compared to traveling to a foreign country, scuba diving, climbing a mountain, or jumping out of an airplane.  Taking laps with Monster Racing is a lot more affordable and fortunately does not require a passport or special certification.

This past October, Maryann Toomey, the operations manager for GirlsGarage.com crossed off one of her items on her “to-do list” when she took her first laps at Monster Racing.

“There were so many highlights.  After being out there on the track and going 120mph, now I can imagine what it is like having 42 other cars racing side by side for four hours.  I gained a whole new perspective on racing” Toomey explained.  “I remember getting out of the car thinking that I had to drive one of these things, riding just wasn’t enough”.

The experience is addictive; much like any adrenaline-packed event.  “It was an unbelievable experience.  I knew I’d love it, but I never imagined how much.”

Maryann Toomey has been a racing fan for decades and admitted that it took just four laps with Monster Racing to change a lot about what she thought she knew.  “The scariest part was coming down onto pit road.  The opening is so narrow.  It doesn’t seem that way from the grandstands or from television. I gained such an amazing respect for racers”

What advice would Maryann give to someone taking advantage of a Monster Racing gift certificate?  “Just breathe normally.  Once you get inside the car, start enjoying it right away.  Don’t waste time holding your breath, just have fun.  I highly recommend that anyone who does not know what to get someone for Christmas, go get a Monster gift certificate to drive or ride.  It’s the most exciting thing out there.  For anyone who loves NASCAR, it puts a whole new meaning to when you watch a race.”

Even a guy who has everything will appreciate riding shotgun at 120mph on 24 degrees of banking on one of the most unique tracks on the NASCAR circuit.  It is designed to provide a real life look inside the world of NASCAR.  The key to Monster’s success is the enthusiastic staff that works hard at making sure the experience is the best it can be for everyone who straps on a helmet.  The trained crew helps riders and drivers feel as comfortable and as safe as possible.  Monster Racing also offers a professional photographer and on-site developing services so participants can walk away with a framed photo of their experience.

So, this Christmas season, instead of rushing out at www.monsterracing.comand check out their drive or ride packages.  The racing school runs from April to October at Dover International Speedway.  Tell them Girls Garage sent you!
